[JOB] z/VSE and z/VM Systems Programmer

Kim May

[JOB] z/VSE and z/VM Systems Programmer
Really?? You ask, and yes I answer.

I have a customer with a relatively stable environment in need of a Systems
Programmer to support their z/VSE, z/VW and z/Linux environments.

We are looking at creative ways to "keep the lights" on for the next year
(or 3) and they are willing to consider a combination of onsite and remote
work.

Because that "modernization" word comes up frequently, the customer has the
all-too-familiar problem of retiring staff members and computer operators on
the prowl for promotions and opportunities to move into new positions away
from the mainframe, so someone comfortable with mentoring and willing to
provide some knowledge transfer (and maybe handholding) would be perfect.

Not a cakewalk, but not a super stressful environment either.

If you are interested please contact me at [login to unmask email]

Thanks!

Wouldn't it be better to send this to the z/VM (listserv.uark.edu) and the z/Linux ([login to unmask email]) lists?I assume you didn't send it to these as I am subscribed to both.I don't have a z/VSE subscription, and hope I never do :)
