IFCID 106 field QWP4OZTP

IFCID 106 field QWP4OZTP
I'm looking into keeping track of online zparm changes, and am trying to figure out how to decipher the values of the Online Zparm Type field (QWP4OZTP) in the 106 IFCID record. All I can find after an afternoon of Googling is that it is the 'type of zparm' changed online. Very helpful.

Does anyone have any idea?

Hello Sally,

To make this kind of tracking , we have created a table where we stored the value from the stored procedure ADMIN_INFO_SYSPARM at each changes.

the trigger are a start of db2 (DSN9022I ) or a -SET SYSPARM  command  (DSNZ007I). You have only to follow the messages issued by this two actions.

After that you can make queries to identify each value update, or new fields from a maintenance ...

I can send you more info in  MP .

regards

Alain

Hi Sally,

The IFCIDs are documented in hlq.SDSNIVPD(DSNWMSGS). However, in this case the documentation is not more helpful than your google query. My reaction is that the field is probably not interesting, but you could open a PMR for more information.

I like the IFCID 106 over the stored procedure as the IFCID record gives more information. For example, if your calls to the stores procedure reveals that a ZPARM has changed you will probably need to go back to the SMF data to find out when it happened and who did it.

QWP4OZTP indicates if load / reload /startup operands were used on set sysparm command.
