Does anyone know if there are any recent white papers on DB2 Buffer pools, showing what savings there is using the apar that is available ?

Using the apar?   what APAR?

Around the time of general availability of most versions a performance topics redbook is published discussing major improvements.  These improvements often include buffer management.

Good buffer management often presupposes good capacity management including hardware (CPU Memory I/O) and software for the workloads

Several active users on this fourm have tools and monitors that support DB2 I/O management including buffer siziing and configuration.
