Does anyone know of a Vendor application to replace numerous KSH shell scripts?

Management has given me a directive to replace the majority of our KSH shell scripts we use to manage our LUW environment  with a Vendor application.    Does anyone know of any vendor applications that can automate routine maintenance functionality?

Currently we schedule AIX/ Linux  KSH scripts to perform routine functions such as backing up  databases, alterting on Tablespace sizes,  run reorgs,  remove terminated users,  runstats, monthly add / delete partitions, reporting space usage etc.   I am finding a number of monitoring applications to measure performance, but have not seen any  that can automate KSH tasks.   What do most companies do to manage these functions?

My understanding is most companies write scripts to manage routine tasks that I described above, is that true?
