IDUG EMEA 2019 Call for Presentations : Closing Soon (March 19th)
Folks,

The IDUG EMEA 2019, due to be held from October 20 - 24 in Rotterdam.

The Call for Presentations has been open since the close of the previous
conference last November. It is due to close in under 2 weeks, on March
19th.

So if you'd like to be considered as a potential speaker at this year's
conference, please get your abstracts in as soon as you can.

Just as a reminder the IDUG EMEA Conference does not take "rollovers" from
other IDUG Conference abstracts including North America. This has been
the case for about 6 years now, but still some people get caught out by
this. So if you wish to be considered for IDUG EMEA you need to submit
directly to IDUG EMEA.

You'll find all the details here : https://www.idug.org/p/cm/ld/fid=1632

Note that you should be logged into IDUG before starting the submission
process.

If you know of anybody who might be interested in speaking, but isn't on
the DB2-L mailing list, then please forward this reminder to them (and
encourage them to join DB2-L as well).

If you've never spoken at IDUG before, then don't hesitate to submit some
abstracts. You'll find the experience extremely rewarding (I speak from
personal experience) and you'll find that the EMEA CPC team will help you
at every stage of the journey.

As well as the normal DBA and SQL topics, we're especially interested this
year in true developer topics. So if you are a developer who works with
DB2 databases please consider submitting abstracts about your experiences.
There is a great need for this type of session.

I look forward to reading your submissions.

Thanks

Philip Nelson
