DB2 v11 - Incorrect RTS for a PBR Tablespace

DB2 v11 - Incorrect RTS for a PBR Tablespace

Hello all,

In one of our subsystems we have a PBR Tablespace which has DEFINE NO, and thus since it's table is currently empty (0 rows) the VSAMs are not yet created.

Nevertheless, the current RTS point out incorrect values for the statistics, such as NACTIVE, SPACE, and TOTALROWS... (this is a Development environment, so it's probable that in the past the values have been copied from Production, and remained like that since then).

We've tried to rerun the RUNSTATS utility (with SHRLEVEL CHANGE and REFERENCE) and the information still remains incorrect (although in sysout of the jobs reports the statistics have been updated, and that the objects are empty), as well as running command -ACCESS DB(xx) SP(xx) MODE(STATS)...no results.

I would like to ask for some tips and hints, regarding what may be the cause for the RTS not to be correctly updated, and/or any idea on how to reset the RTS values for this particular Tablespace.

Ps: For now, this object is the only one we are having problems.

Just delete all DEFINE NO objects from*both* RTS Tables...

I did a newsletter about cleaning up all the debris in the RTS last year... with SQLs and write up to make it easy on the brain!
