differences in logging DML versus load (log yes) for CDC purposes

Hello,

We have a CDC process for tables with data capture on. When reading the Db2 logs for changes is there a difference in the logging of DML versus a LOAD LOG YES UTILITY? Will we get all the changes from the load?

thanks

Bill

Bill,

Not totally clear on what you are asking here, but.....

LOAD SHRLEVEL change LOG YES is equivalent to an application INSERT process from a CDC perspective. We use CDC and shrlevel change load all the time without issue.

Short answer, all the inserts are logged , so any replication tool can scrape them for source/target apply.
