Connections to database on Db2 for z/OS

Connections to database on Db2 for z/OS

I know that we can find an inactive database on Db2 for AIX by checking whether there are any connections to the database or not.

Similarly, is there a easy way to find out whether there are any ODBC/JDBC connections to databases on Db2 for z/OS (probably, by checking Db2 logs)?

Thanks,

Bharath Nunepalli.

If you have SMF Accounting traces (or any other thread level trace) with DISTRIBUTION
headers turned on, you can look for DRDA connections
