GIM67301W for DSN1COMP

GIM67301W for DSN1COMP

when running an APPLY of RSU1906 I got the following:

GIM67301W LOAD MODULE DSN1COMP IN SYSLIB SDSNLOAD DOES NOT INCLUDE MODULE FPZABC
GIM67301W LOAD MODULE DSN1COMP IN SYSLIB SDSNLOAD DOES NOT INCLUDE MODULE FPZPRB
GIM67301W LOAD MODULE DSN1COMP IN SYSLIB SDSNLOAD DOES NOT INCLUDE MODULE FPZRMR
GIM67301W LOAD MODULE DSN1COMP IN SYSLIB SDSNLOAD DOES NOT INCLUDE MODULE FPZRZV

Should I be concerned about this? Am I missing something for DSN1COMP?

thanks

Bill

You may need to ask IBM support

If the FPZABC is part of zEDC and you need those services, then you are missing a library on your DSNLOAD concatenation in SMP/e

Could you show us your DSN LOAD from the DDDEF in SMP/e?

Or you might need to include another dataset in the DSNLOAD SYSLIB statement.

But IBM could probably tell more – I am just guessing based on module prefix FZB. I could be mistaken

So what version of DB2? What version of z/OS?

Hello,

Thank you for your response!

I opened a PMR (or case as they call it now). And waiting for a response.

I am at Db2 v11 z/OS 2.2.

Sorry for my ignorance but I do not know what you mean by seeing the DSNLOAD DDDEF; it only shows my SDSNLOAD.

thanks

Bill

where might I find the linkedit job for DSN1COMP?

according to IBM I need to add the includes for those modules.

thanks

There are not a batch job per se

All SMP/e jobs are retained in JCLIN. I typically use the SMPE ISPF Application to manage my SMP/e environments.

You need to determine if you need to update the SYSLIB, or some other DD statement to be used by JCLIN

Find out from IBM where and what you need to modify.

Hi Lizette,

Thank you for your response!

Yes, I understand. I added our CSSLIB to my SYSLIB DDDEF.

now I see the following:

LKED DSN1COMP LMOD UPDATED LINK-EDIT INPUT REPLACED, CALLLIBS ADDED
DSN1DCLB MOD ADDED DISTLIB=ADSNLOAD, LMOD=DSN1COMP
FPZ4ABC MOD ADDED DISTLIB=SYSLIB, LMOD=DSN1COMP
FPZ4PRB MOD ADDED DISTLIB=SYSLIB, LMOD=DSN1COMP
FPZ4RMR MOD ADDED DISTLIB=SYSLIB, LMOD=DSN1COMP
FPZ4RZV MOD ADDED DISTLIB=SYSLIB, LMOD=DSN1COMP

but what is misleading is that the warning messages still come up saying those modules are not included.

thanks

Bill
