Hi Bill,

Postman is a REST client that can call REST APIs.

To create a new Db2 REST API service you issue a POST to Db2 on the same address and port as DDF. Example can be found in the manual

Thank you for your response!

would this work on v11 without current maintenance for APIs? I am at RSU1806.

thanks

Postman is good for initial exploration and testing purposes. I wouldn't use it to create 100s of REST services :)

I've attached a screenshot of a Db2 REST service I created a while back using Postman. The service is calling a native stored procedure "PROCEDURE5".

I've attached another screenshot showing a REST call to the newly created Db2 REST Service.
