package selected for execution

when there are multiple versions of the same collid and package name, how is the specific package chosen to execute? Do the version and con token fields come into play?

thanks

Hi

The CONTOKEN is also contained in the load-module. So Db2 selects the package with that CONTOKEN. If Db2 does not find it you will get a -805 or a -812, depending what to specified in PKLIST during the bind of the plan.

Kind regards
