CLI Driver error returned "SQL0100W No row was found for FETCH, UPDATE or DELETE; or the result of a query is an empty table. SQLSTATE=02000"

CLI Driver error returned "SQL0100W No row was found for FETCH, UPDATE or DELETE; or the result of a query is an empty table. SQLSTATE=02000"

We have a client ODBC application returning the following:

Query failed with:  02000(100)[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0100W  No row was found for FETCH, UPDATE or DELETE; or the result of a query is an empty table.  SQLSTATE=02000

A BMC report shows the package being accessed is "SYSSH200".

I have been unable to replicate the problem in our sandbox.

I am suspecting there are outdated drivers or packages causing the issue.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

thanks

Bill

(in response to william giannelli)
This is not an error, the query simply finds no results
(SQLCODE = 100, SQLSTATE = 02000).
Check the WHERE conditions of the query and the
contents of the table on the target database.
The good news is: connect to the database
and table existence is all OK.

Kind regards

Bernd

I would guess that no row was found for the executed predicate.
Try doing a
“select * from sysibm.sysdummy1”
to see if you are getting anything!
