get packages with HDDL in BMC

Hi All,

IBM's DB2 Admin tool has the ability to generate the dependent packages when we do a GENERATE DDL. Does BMC's Catalog Manager allow us to use the HDDL command and generate the package dependencies for the corresponding table?

Thank you.

Currently, BMC Catalog Manager will not build package dependencies in the HDDL stream

However, if you get the object you are generating HDDL for in an object list you can enter “PG” to the left of that object to list dependent packages.

Is it possible to invoke that option in a JCL?

You place command BIND/REBIND in front of TS/Table it will generate bind card you can save in PDS dataset.

if it does not work against tables then you can try with plan name.
