Db2 (LUW) article with links to Db2 resources

I wrote an article that has a whole bunch of links in it to Db2 (LUW) resources such as IDUG, IBM Communities, eBooks, Webinars, the Db2 newsletter, Blogs (THANK YOU Dean and Ember!), IBM Support, Db2 Downloads, the RFE site, the Db2 roadmap, etc.  I tried to make it 1 stop shopping for Db2 info.  Pretty much everything I get asked for on a weekly basis! I plan on writing more so we can read about things we need to know, especially all of this new stuff! I even included a few things for the  Db2 on z/OS people!!  :)

It is free and on Medium, please share the link to the links:  ibm.biz/db2-june2020
ps  sign up for the newsletter in the link to get updates from the IBM Lab!!

pps feel free to email me and I will add in another post about all of the sites I forgot LOL

Thanks! K :)

Db2 (LUW) article with links to Db2 resources
(in response to Kay Groski)
Kay,

Your article on Medium suggests two questions, for me:

1. Medium usually allows a set number of “free” articles per month, requiring a US$5/mo subscription after that. Is this article behind that limited-paywall, or is it in a separate always-free bucket?

2. I see links for Python drivers, JSON, GitHub. I’m aware of RESTful services being available from Db2; is Python restricted to Db2 LUW/Cloud, or is there a plan to port it into z/OS? (Currently, Python for z is maintained by Rocket Software, and at last check, was only up to v2.7, a significant limitation… and did not have drivers for Db2 on z)

So – what can you tell us based on what you know at the moment?

Subject: [EXT] [DB2-L] - Db2 (LUW) article with links to Db2 resources

I wrote an article https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.idug.org_ibm.biz_db2-2Djune2020&d=DwMFaQ&c=zQLjxGaFENyz7VqOLRV_eQ&r=YYJeIjQmwOPmpdSI5kr3va7kMQC7npk_rze_KSpW0lE&m=gmNeXUzWJStUqU_swi1HdXUDHmDNHBNXUz1TpiLCRIc&s=W_JscxNCVqVihk07-YVtMehcVoqsiXYgcgaFd5U-ZXU&e= that has a whole bunch of links in it to Db2 (LUW) resources such as IDUG, IBM Communities, eBooks, Webinars, the Db2 newsletter, Blogs (THANK YOU Dean and Ember!), IBM Support, Db2 Downloads, the RFE site, the Db2 roadmap, etc.

Thanks! K :)
