Setting properties of external threads to DB2 z/OS

Setting properties of external threads to DB2 z/OS

Hello Everyone.

I'm a MF guy that have very small knowledge in java/ the open world, so bear with me please.

We are starting the have a great deal of access to db2 on z from the open world via use of stored procedures.

These processes open an enclave in z/os which one of its properties is the process name.

We want to use this field to differentiate processes and setting WLM priority accordingly.

I know this can be set by the requestor.

How can this be done (what is the property name of the connection)?

Also, I want to test the CONCENTRATE STATMENT WITH LITERALS option.

How do i use that property as well?

I did a form and google search and didn't find any syntax examples.

Is there a complete list of the avialable connecion properties?

I would love to get examples/links to examples.

Almost forgot, we are on DB2 11 NFM.

Thank you in advance,

Shay

As far as the JDBC property it’s

statementConcentrator

you should be able to look it up on the internet. Very easy to test using IBM Data Studio and any Db2 online monitor, or via the statement cache EXPLAIN.
