We are so excited to meet our members in Atlanta for the 2026 North America Db2 Tech Conference (NA26), which will be hosted Sunday, October 25 through Wednesday, October 28. This year, we'll be co-located with IBM TechXchange. Your IDUG NA registration gives you full access to BOTH events! Enjoy all of the things that you love about IDUG NA and experience IBM TechXchange in the same week! Registration for IDUG NA opens in early 2026.
Call for Presentations & Technical Sessions
The IDUG NA 2026 Call for Presentations will open mid-February. We look forward to bring the best Db2 content forward to our attendees again this year.
Technical Sessions will be organized by theme once more. Build your agenda based on what you're most interested in exploring! Session themes include:

Sessions will be tagged with each theme/category, platform, and experience level. We can't wait to see the schedules you create!
Workshops & Hands-On Labs
We are thrilled to offer workshops and hands-on labs to our in-person attendees on Wednesday afternoon. These sessions are complimentary with your paid registration – registration is limited to those who have already purchased their tickets to IDUG NA 2026 and will open in the summer.
NAIDUG Essentials Courses
IDUG and IBM are proud to offer z/OS and LUW certification and badging opportunities to our in-person attendees at no additional cost. One exam per attendee is complimentary with your paid IDUG Db2 Tech Conference Registration. Test times and pre-registration instructions will be made available as soon as possible.
Certification & Badging with IDUG
IDUG and IBM are proud to offer z/OS and LUW certification and badging opportunities to our in-person attendees at no additional cost. One exam per attendee is complimentary with your paid IDUG NA Db2 Tech Conference Registration. Test times and pre-registration instructions are included in our interactive agenda and the details below.
At IDUG NA 2026, IBM will offer four certifications – your first exam is complimentary with your #NA25 conference registration. After that, there is a fee of $200 per exam.
The four exams available are:C1000-078: IBM Certified Administrator - Db2 12 for z/OSC1000-122: IBM Associate Certified DBA - Db2 12 for z/OS FundamentalsC1000-181: IBM Certified Db2 13 for z/OS Database Administrator - Professional C1000-184: IBM Certified Db2 13 for z/OS Database Administrator - Associate
No reservations are required for certification. First come, first serve.Certification Hours:Monday: 10:30-5:30 (last seating 4:00)Tuesday: 10:30-5:30 (last seating 4:00)Wednesday: 9:00 – 5:30 (last seating 4:00)Thursday: 9:00-12:00 (last seating 10:30)
Candidates will need an IBM Pearson Vue ID & Password to take the exams. If they do not already have one they can go here to create one: IBM certification testing with Pearson VUE

Monday: 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM
Thursday: 10:30 AM
Please Note: No walk-ins will be accepted. You must book in advance and you will receive a confirmation once you are officially booked. This is a Bring Your Own Device exam. Photo ID will be required at exam time.
Badging opportunities are available to onsite attendees only.
**Also announcing the NEW**
IBM Db2 v12.1 Administrator – Professional
Certification Exam.
This is a hands-on certification exam which will be the first certification of two replacing the three existing advanced badge exams based on Db2 11.5. While you cannot actually take this certification exam at IDUG NA – you can reach out to badges@idug.org to request a voucher. To be eligible for a voucher, you cannot be an IBM employee – and – this voucher can only be used for this particular Db2 LUW 12.1 certification exam.
