Vector Indexes in Db2 – An early preview

Db2 v12.1.2.0 introduced the VECTOR data type and similarity search directly within the Db2 engine. The next step: Vector Indexes. This enables native, highly efficient, approximate similarity search on VECTOR columns. This enhances the vector similarity search by providing faster searches at scale.
